Jesuit PreachingI heard homilies this weekend given by two different Jesuits at two different Masses. The first, on Saturday night, was given by Fr. William Kurz, S.J., New Testament scholar at Marquette, at a monthly Mass for Life we attend. The second was by Fr. Cletus Healy, S.J., at our parish of St. Anthony. Both ended with an exhortation to receive the Sacrament of Penance frequently. This should hearten Karen Hall.
